I have short, dark, cropped pixie hair, my wedding is VERY informal and relaxed, registry office followed by a party at my sister in law's home. I've tried fascinators but they look too Moulin Rouge for me, and I want to wear SOMETHING, I'm just at a loss what to do, my hair looks better short so growing it is NOT an option, besides, I've only got 2 months to go.

I think its pretty and would look really nice in hair like you have described, go for it!
I also found this one, very similar, I got my tiara for my wedding from them, and had GREAT luck with it and it was georgeous and of great quality, so maybe check around their ebay store!

It will look beautiful! It is a perfect choice for an informal affair, as it is not very tall or too sparkly.
I, too, have short hair and I wore a full-on tiara. It looked amazing, if I do say so myself. :)
Congratulations and good luck!

I like it , i think it will look really cute. You could also try a band of flowers, would compliment your pixie look. Oh and dont spike you hair up like the first answer suggested it, it will be much prettier and more feminine to have it looking more natural and brshed forward a bit maybe

I think this would work fine!
Also, just a question/suggestion, have you checked out www.theknot.com or www.theweddingchannel.com. They have a gallery of pictures with all different hair styles! Maybe it could help you get a better idea of the ways you could fix it!
Good luck and congrats!

I like it but it's hard to tell if something would look right until you try it on. Go to a couple of bridal shops and try a few things on. I saw something like that when my niece was getting her dress. She was suprised what worked in her hair. I'm sure whatever you find it will look great on you.

I think the fact that the tiara is so light and pixie-like will work well for your hair.

i think it would look lovely, but again dont have spikey hair, well not really spikey, try softening it a bit. it is a very delicate looking band - and too spikey hair will make it really masculine.
have a look at other peoples wedding pictures online (on photographers sites or dress sites or hair dressers sites) and see how they wear their hair and what looks good / not. for that price its definitely worth a try!!
