Not cramping but muscle spasms it literally feels like someone is poking my legs. Why does this happen?

Make sure you are well hydrated and breath deeply before, during, and after exercise to oxygenate your tissues and remove lactic acid. If this doesn't help, see a doctor or excercise physiologist. Good shout out from Randy c on the potassium also.

Your low on potassium. Eat some bannanas or take a supplement and ease off a little on your workout till you get more in your system.

That happens to me, too. It feels like tiny bubbles popping in my thighs.

b/c you just worked them out and pushed them to their limit. Its natural just make sure you stretch to prevent a cramp.
