I received an email today from a bible student thanking me for sharing with her about our loving father, Jehovah. She attended the funeral of a co-worker and ended up walking out after several of the people who spoke kept blaming God for "taking" their loved one. She couldn't take the misinformation, but didn't want to be disrespectful. She expressed her thanks again and again.

I told her that there was no need to thank me. I also stated that I was more than happy to be the one used to give the two of them (her and Jehovah) a proper introduction.

If all people would receive the truth about Jehovah so openly, imagine what joy we could find in our ministry.

That's a pretty neat experience. I had a similar one with myself. I walked out of a cousin's funeral because they kept blaming God and just making his family more and more upset. Back at the family's home, several other family members asked me why I left. I explained to them (using my Aunt's family bible) how God is not responsible for his death and how there is a hope for his resurrection.
He also left behind a wife and 3 children. The youngest came up to me - I didn't know he was even in the room - and asked if I knew someone that could resurrect his father. I said yes and told him he knew him too. He asked who it was and I told him it was out wonderful heavenly father Jehovah God. I went next door, to my parent's house, and got him a great teacher book and bible story book. His mother thanked me so much and said she'd be reading that to him every night and saying a prayer before going to bed.

Don't know how much that helped just yet, but I'm going to see them again this weekend.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the truth and do nothing cult like. They are kind, honest, hard working people who live as Christians instead of just claiming it on Sundays. And EVEN if we were a cult, it would still be better than despicable false religion with her bloodshed and horribly false teachings!! They call us 'brain washed' and yet their churches are voting for yet ANOTHER political ruler and putting their trust in him (or her) when the bible CLEARLY says that ALL earthly rulers and kingdoms will be done away with. Seems to me that they need their brains 'washed' because they are obviously filled with the filthy teachings of Satan. The end will be just like Noah day, just as Jesus said. Only a relatively small group will be doing righteos things and pronouncing God's coming judgement, everyone else will be going about their lives not taking note, right up until the end. Jehovah's Witnesses are the ONLY religion that TRULY and loyally follow Jesus example. Our good fruits speak for themselves, and false religion continues to expose itself as the chief tool of satan the devil.

I've been in the Truth for 14 years and my husband has been coming for only 2 years and not an unbaptized publisher. All the years of him putting my publications in the garbage and not letting the children go is so worth seeing him sitting with us at our District Convention last week. It isn't easy for me to keep my mouth shut but for him to be coming is so worth it.

Our daughter was baptized in 05 at 14 years old. She is the one that studies with him and I can't interfere. Jehovah guides her to do what needs to be done. If my witness is to keep quiet then so be it. I only say something when he asks me. If I do say anything he will tell me to stop preaching to him. Jehovah will do what is best for us.

Once when I was in the supermarket I was standing in line at the Deli and I was going to get a half pound of American Cheese. Out of nowhere this woman tells me to not to get the brand I was looking at because another brand was on sale. Just like that. So I ordered the other brand and I think it was just as good as the brand I usually get. Now I often check to see whats on sale before I order. I never even knew this woman's name but tell me that doesn't prove our belief in Jehovah is the right path.

I find it funny that many say they have "been in the Truth", when it has been shown that very little of the JW's teachings are actually based on any truth whatsoever.

But it is nice to know that the JW's wait until someone is so vulnerable that they are open to accepting a false "truth" over the real Truth of what Christianity is.

Mourning takes on several stages - one of them is anger. Even anger at God is a good thing. It shows emotion and a willingness to at least accept the possibility that God has a higher calling for all of us. Even in loss, we should know that it is for His glory that we suffer, not for the the glory of the WTS and getting a new member.

whatever. I choose to not believe in any God, and I have plenty of joy in my life. A belief in God is not necessary to have joy.
