There is never a certain time period for you to tell your significant other that you love him/her. Love is a very complicated emotion, and it varies among people.
If you've known the person for a long time (a year or so), and you still get fuzzy feelings around them, it's most likely fine to tell them you love them.
But if you've only known him/her for a short time (a couple months), it's probably infatuation, not love. So wait a bit to say "I love you."

there is no specific time span to know how you truely feel about someone, love is a splendid thing, it tickles the heart and worries the brain, whenever it feels right then it most definitely is and just like there is no time span to know how you feel also there isn't one to tell someone how you feel about them and besides actions speak louder than words, maybe you won't need to say much when it all comes down to it.

that is a risky limb to go out on. Especially if they do not return the feelings.
But if you love him you love him. There is no changing that, I say be bold and tell him, but be prepared that it could break your heart or send it sailing on the waves of boundless love.

well if you raelly truely love them it is never too soon! there is love at fisrt sight! it is always better to tell them exactly how you feel so tell this person that you do love him!! be honest! good luck!

You need to have closer on both ends first. If you truly feel there is closer and you love yourself, than you will know your ready to love someone else.
