My dad flies the 747 and it is much bigger than a 737. A 747 can hold a bout 403 passengers. It just depends if your talking about th 747-400 or a 747-200. A 747 has to decks. The top deck is First Class and hold about 50 people. The bottom deck has about 350 people. The 737 has one deck and holds about 200 or less. The 747 has 2 seats on each side and 10 in the middle so 3 aisles. There also is a difference in speed. The 747 goes about 550 mph, while all the other planes, including the 737 goes 500 mph. The 747 has 18 wheels and flies only in one U.S state (Hawaii). It fleis just in other countries.

They are totally different models, like a Ford Escort and an Explorer.
There are many different variations on each plane, like car made in coupe, sedan, and convertible versions.
Most 737's are short to medium distance jets that handle about 135 people, but there is a long haul version that holds a little less. Southwest flies only 737's.
The 747's are long distance jets that can hold near 400 people and can fly 10+ hours without refueling. The 747 also has a "stretch" version, usually used for trans-continental flights or cargo for UPS, Fedex, etc.
Air Force One is a 747, as is the jet that moves the Space Shuttle from Houston or California to Florida, but that is heavily modified version.
