He showed up at our front door and no one has called to claim him; and he hasn't been able to tell us his name - and we've tried to see if he responds to numerous names - no luck

since it sounds like a boy, my idea of Mckenna might be out. The dog i previously had was named Mckenna and it suited her perfectly! OTher male names are Max, Buddy, Cody, Charlie, Toby, Riley, Lance, Sam, and Zach. Hope it helps!
