Personally, I would have omitted the word 'that'. It's a tad unnecessary.

However... it looks to be a dangler. 'as well' should be removed in favor of: '; therefore, he also included their etymologies.

Should have put a period after "words" and started a new sentance. i.e. "He therefore included their etymologies as well."

It's properly constructed, although it'd be better as two sentences. Period instead of semi-colon.
