Since God always was I would think he would have the decency to tell us what he did before he created the earth and mankind.

We can understand the bible right?

Yes it does matter. If God explained himself a bit more maybe we could end the evolution type debates that you see. God has said many times in the bible that he wants us to know him, well then why not provide these answers?

My friend, this is something we may never know or understand. I would ask why it would be so important? No matter how much more he put there in the bible people would only have more to dispute. He gave us just the amount of wisdom and knowledge we needed. Is it important to tell your kids everything you did before they were born? I would die if I had to tell my kids all of that, plus some of it they would not understand. I am not sure why he did tell us but I trust it is for the good of us! What is more important is that we receive the free gift of salvation so we get to be a part of his eternal future!

Because it doesn't matter what happened before that time. All that matters is whether or not you accept the gift of salvation.

"I would think He would have the decency...."
God owes you something?
You wish to tell Him how things should be?
You remind me of the pot who got angry at the potter, lamenting:
"Why did you make me this way?"
God gave you life and a planet to stand on .....make your way.

I very much doubt we would understand it if he did.
