Not very good, very high taxes, not enough housing, property extremely expensive, too many immigrants willing to work very cheaply just to be here, driving is a nightmare, too many speed cameras and silly laws being over used to rob us of our money, living under a nanny state takes away personal choice over too many things, if I were younger I would take the choice and live somewhere else. over my life I have seen this country run down from a place that was respected throughout the World, to a place that is ridiculed and abused by the rest of Europe, we are inundated by people coming from poorer countries because of our health service and our welfare system, making it much less effective for the native British but much more expensive to run, Briton`s are not now free men, there are law`s for everything and more invented every day in the name of safety or the environment, (why should these issue`s make so much money for the government?, if large engine cars cause so much pollution why are they still being imported?. Sorry I got off of the subject, rant over, that is how I feel that life is in the UK now, what a shame, it used to be great.
Chris.

As a teenager, I see life in the UK as normal. It could be alot worse. There are many different areas which have many different amounts of wealth.
A negative point is the youth of the UK is very poorly behaved. 'Chavs' as we call them are in just about every city. They terrorise neighbourhoods, vandalise property, intimidate the elderly and other youths. We have a very bad rate of youth crime. Bad taxes too. Also we havem many refugees and asylum seekers, Not that they are bad as such, but everyone has their own views.
On the other Hand. There are lots of amazing places to see. And for a country with such high un-employment there are really lots of jobs. Good pay usually. Higher minimum wage than most. Great sport. Majority of people are friendly, (The Welsh).
The weather is very unpredictable though. But the Food and Drink is amazing!

it's ok , very nice in the summer but very short hours of daylight in the winter and very grey which can be depressing.
there is more crime than a lot of people expect. especially bad are youth crime and alcohol-related crime.
on the whole life here is okay though, although 10-15 years ago it was a better country IMO
ignore the moaners, normally its just because there own lives are crap ,and they try to blame that on the state of the nation (anything to excuse themself from responsibilty)

The BEST!!
Except for Essex.
Other than that, depends where you are.
London, Oxford and Bristol are cool.
London has an amazing buzz, great fashion, nightlife and mix of people.
Just don't move here, we have too many immigrants already!
People complain about the UK, but every country has their problems, and i think we're quite well off tbh.

I lived there for 4 years and I have very good memories of UK. I think is one of the best places to live, as soon as you have a car.
