me and my bf went out for over a year. we broke up a few weeks ago, and now he's being so ******* cruel. We were friends for a while after the break up, and were even talking about getting back together, now he's hanging out with this stupid ugly fat senior chick, and flirting with her, and talking crap about me with her. he told me he thought she was prettier and cooler, and i asked him if he really thought that, and he said he didnt want to talk crap about her so he wouldnt answer. I feel so heartbroken, why is he being so mean?

I've learned from talking to actual guys, that's just means he's hurt. He doesn't want to show his true emotions because that's wouldn't be very cool. So he covers it up by being mean to you, trying to get with other girls. I just went through the exact same thing, except we dated for almost two years. He was being the biggest jerk, got into drugs and alcohol, started being with ugly chicks. Put down everything I said to him. Finally I stopped talking to him, blocked him on myspace, without any warning. And a couple days later, he sent me an e-mail asking what was up. And oh, I told him. He said he was sorry, and now we're just friends, but we get a long really well. I don't think that they realize they're hurting our feelings, they don't analyze stuff like we do. So just give him his space, and act like you don't care, even stop talking to him all together. Maybe he'll come around and you'll be able to be friends, and if he doesn't - you know he wasn't worth your time. It's a win win situation. Take care - it'll work out one way or another in the end, it always does.

Uhhh he isn't being mean he is just moving on. You guys broke up so he has a right to hang out with other girls and flirt with them... face it, eventually he'll want another girlfriend. And so what if he thinks she is prettier and cooler? are you honestly so immature and self concious that you can't take that? I know that sucks to hear and it was a little rude of him, but be mature and just ignore him. Just becaue he doesn't wnat to flirt with you doesn't mean he is a jerk.

Because he is lashing out at you. For whatever reason he feels the need to hurt you and make you feel jealous. If you're still suffering over the break-up that makes him feel better. It's his way of improving his self esteem at the cost of making you feel worse. You're being mind-f***ed!
Don't let this continue! It will put you in a pit that could take years to climb out of. No one is worth losing your self respect over. I know it hurts right now, that's normal. The heartache will ease and you'll find someone better. Until then don't feed into his mindgames.

because hes a coward and doesnt want to face his past with you so he makes you feel worse and heartbroken. Dont worry about him anymore be confident forget he exist he may figure out down the road he missed the best thing that ever walked into his life...hes more worried about being with just someone than the right one...good luck,

first off ,nay, not every guy is mean. and its dudes like this that give nice guys like a me a bad wrap. i'm tired of all these boys treating women with disrespect and all of that other bs. So what you need to do is find a REAL gentleman who knows how to treat a ladie.

Happy Hunting and forget about that bag of dueche
