I guess I'm just tired of all the whining and B******* going on about the race.

So What's your favorite collector item(s) you have of your driver or just from NASCAR period?

Mine....Well I got 2 great things this year. On Valentines my husband gave me a bar mirror of Dale Jr with his car...... LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!

2nd on my anniversary our best friends got us a personalized picture. My best friends favorite driver is Jimmy Johnson, her husband likes Jeff Gordon and her daughter likes Mark Martin, well in this picture all 3 of those cars are lined up on pit road and in the backround theres a huge digital sign that says "NASCAR Welcomes (Our first names) to the Daytona 500" it's awesome! And it was just perfect that all 3 of their drivers were in pit lane together.

So tell me what goodies you all have!

I have a few favorites that I'll brag on for a few moments. When I was younger, My dad started collecting the 1:64 diecast WORLD OF OUTLAW SPRINT CARS for me. I've got the entire series collection from between 91-94. They are definitely my most prized racing memorabilia because of the sentimental value they hold. My favorite 2 are Gary Wright of Hooks, Tx and one that's a young blonde headed kid named Christopher Yeley.. Now known as J.J... I also was lucky enough to get some autographs @ Talladega about 5/6 years ago. I got Robby Gordon, Kurt Busch, Sterling Marlin, and Casey Mears. Mears and Robby were definitely the best. They seemed so down to earth, answering almost any question thrown @ them. Ok, enough of that!! My favorite piece of memorabilia is what I got for X-mas last year. It was USED NASCAR tire, signed by the KING himself... Richard Petty. I about dropped when I saw his signature on the tire. I've included a link to it below. I'm the guy in the Red Hoodie by the way.. and that's my Uncle next to me.

Well short, I don't really have a whole lot to brag about like all these other guys and gals. I don't know if many remember when Jeff Gordon drove the Baby Ruth car, but I have a die cast of that. I also have a Davey Allison racing jacket that has never been worn. I have a TON of stuff stored away in a box in the storage building. I'd love to look through it again sometime. I think you've given me a little inspiration to do so! Thanks! Oh, and thanks for breaking the monotony of "Jeff/NASCAR cheated" questions.

Dale Earnhardt Wood Carving.

One cool thing we have in the collections is a hand done wood carving. It is a wood carving that is about 16" x 20" and about 2 inches deep. It is a carving of Dale Earnhardt making a pit stop at Daytona with the crew changind tires and filling the tank. It also has a carved area of Dale's face above the main picture. They were all hand carved so simular but not exactly. Rare find, sold by Snap-On. It was done by and artist and has printed info about Dale on the back.

I have a left front tire that came off Dale Earnhardt seniors car at the 2001 Dattona 500. I had second thoughts when I bought it in 2001, it was a very emotional time but I am so glad I have it now.

I have a Jeff Gordon Busch Rookie Card. It's when he drove for Bill Davis Racing. It's not worth any money, but I Love It! My husband gave it to me a few years back. I also have a Sam Bass picture of Dale Jr. (Red Rocks) that my brother bought me one year for Christmas. He also bought me my first Jeff Gordon Jacket. I know that's not a big deal for some, but for me it's PRICELESS. (we were very poor growing up & that was the best thing he could have ever done for me)! I wear it with a big Smile on my face! LOL!!!

I think that the best memorabilia I have is the little cars that they hand out when you buy a program from the race.

I have been to 8 different tracks and each time I buy a program I get the little event car.

It has been a topic of conversation on more than one occasion when I am entertaining guests in my home.
