That's a good neighbor. I'm glad they did. Believe it or not, I was worried about your getting it replaced soon. Now I can relax. :o)

Who's that old lady on Desperate House Wives who's always doing stuff for her neighbors weather they want her to or not ... she does stuff like take down Christmas lights in June for her neighbors, and always butting into others affairs.

I guess replacing the alarm battery would confirm that there isn't a fire ...but then there's the fine line of being helpful and medallying into others affairs.

Sure, If you really need assistance with the smoke alarm, yeah. With the commandments though? I would not say that! Just being a good neighbor. Now dont be going to ask for all kinds of stuff, just because they might have said that "anytime you need help with something just ask, ok" Because wives get jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends when they came and how they went about it.

Like if the person walked right into your house at 10:00 at night and demanded they change the battery because god forbid thier children were playing at your house during a fire they would all die and it would be all your fault for not changing the god dam battery!!!

haha

I just replaced it. Do you know how much damage to the environment is caused by wasting perfectly good batteries?

If the person did that, out of thoughtfulness to you, I would say that was a good deed.

Maybe a better neighbor wouldn't have replaced them at all.

Indeed, even if you are capable of doing it yourself.

Unless he's aligning you up for that big favor he's going to ask you later.
