You're joking, right? Kittens aren't mouse-catching machines, they're animals. When you adopt an animal you're making a commitment to take care of that animal.
On the other hand, if you think of them solely as mouse-catchers and the other kittens were eaten by coyotes this one would probably be better off in a new home.
Try putting down traps, and perhaps contacting a pest-control agency for help with your mouse problem. If mice are costing you that much consider it an investment or business expense.

You're being selfish if you get a cat to catch mice when you know there's a good chance it'll be eaten by coyotes. I would ask that you not put a kitten in that kind of danger for your own gain.
Call a freakin' exterminator already, cheap-o. And give the kitten to a no-kill shelter or a friend without a coyote problem.

sounds like you live in a horrible place for cats!! Do you not provide shelter and protection for your animals?
You must not drive those cars or the mice wouldn't have the opportunity to chew the wires. If those cars are just sitting there, waiting for the day that you are going to fix them up, why not put some mouse traps in key places? Why not get a big dog who can defend himself from the coyotes, and will also catch and eat mice? But don't get a puppy and please, don't ever get a kitten again!!

Don't get rid of him! You got him in the first place, just don't abandon him. And most kittens/cats are like that. They will usually only catch mice if they are hungry enough and then eat them. But your kitten [like most other kittens/cats do] just plays with it.
You don't take care of your kittens at all, letting them be outside all of the time, being eaten. There is a good chance if you get another kitten it will be exactly the same, and just play with the mice.
Call an exterminator or put your car elsewhere!

Most cats play with mice until the mouse dies from fright or escapes or the cat kills it. I've had cats my whole life and I've never seen a cat just outright kill a mouse.
I read that a well-fed cat is a better mouser, so I hope it isn't depending on just those little morsels to survive.
And anyway, eating mice=disease. Is that what you want for your kitten?
How about adopting an adult cat that knows what to do rather than a little kitten who's still learning?

dont be selfish, y do you even have another kitten that will probably get eaten by coyotes, its only young and is still a kitten, i have a cat called Lucky and he catches mice to show he loves us, its like a little present for its master saying i love you from your cat, only a well-fed cat will do this, so mayby love it, care for it and be nice to it, dont get rid of it, cause you probably aiunt giving it time, only adults do that, and they always play with their food at first, until it dies of shock, its only 9 months and if you can dish out $2000 for repairs why dont you get on the phone and call pest control, and if you dont wont your kitten give it to someone who does, it will only bring presents if you are nice to it, or mayby it hasnt learnt how to,
so please dont get rid of your kitty
Good luck with the mice
and hope this helped

Kittens (or lion cubs) need to be taught that a live mouse is not a plaything. Even in the wild, the mother teaches the cub how to catch prey. Then she has to teach them that it's something to eat! This kitty seems to be a slow learner, or maybe no one has shown her what to do. Put her with a cat who knows what to do and she'll follow along and learn.

A kitten????
He's only a baby! If you want a mousing cat, get one that's trained to do it, don't toss a kitten outside and expect him to kill mice and fend off coyotes!!!
The poor kitties..... :(

why don't you just call the exterminator and keep your kitten inside as a pet.
maybe you should give up your kitten, if you were so irresponciable to let your other kittens get eaten by coyotes.
