You need a trim. That's the only way to fix splits for good. There are some products that seal them temporarily, but only for a couple shampoos.

Go to a salon and let them know that you'd like a trim but would like to keep as much of the length as you can. If it turns out that to get rid of all the split ends, you will have to get your hair cut shorter than you'd like. Tell them that instead of getting them all cut off at one time, you'd like to do it in sessions. For example, get about an inch and a half trimmed off now and then go back in six to eight weeks for your next one until all the split ends are gone. Meanwhile lay off of flat irons and curling irons as much as possible.

If you have splits in your hair, then cut your hair a little to avoid the growth of splits and then regularly apply oil to it and use good shampoos. Hope it may solve your problem. Bye.

You have to get your ends clipped. If you don't it will keep splitting. Go to some place cheap like super cuts and just have them give you a trim. It only cost about 8 dollars

you could a, get a trim , or b, use conditioner, but only on the bottoms of your hair. it is not good to put conditioner at your roots all throughout your hair because you'll never be able to get all of the conditioner out which may result in greasy-looking hair. i don't know if it's bad for your hair or anything but leaving soap in your hair must not be very good? but yes to avoid split ends use conditioner only on the bottoms!
