i got a girlfriend this summer and i really like her and we have been going out for about 3 weeks but now she tells me shes just takeing a break from her boyfriend but i want to go out with her after the summer ends is there any advice you can give me so that when summer ends she might choose me over him

i dont want to cut her loose and just give up like that but a couple of days after she told me she was getting back with her old boyfriend she told me she like me more than her old boyfriend im not sure if that was a lie or not so that makes me think maybe she might choose me over him

why would you still want her if she's using you as a "break"
