Because if elephants elephanted instead of trumpteded and emeralds were emeraldious and not lustrous the language would look crappy and sound like a scratched record.

they do elephant. have you ever watched one. the things they do is what an elephant does. they dont fly except for gumbo they dont climb trees. they play in the mud use theire trunks for washing and lifting and many other things.
