My husband said it means that he has killed someone or something of the like.
What does it really mean??

i just googled and did not realise how popular it was! ( i live in Australia)
And most are young and don't know really what it means!

Some supposed 'bangers tattoo a tear under their right eye for every person they've killed. Tears under the left eye are supposed to mean sorrow for loved ones lost. Of course, any cornhole can get a tat, so they really don't mean anything other than the person is willing to disfigure their face and desperately trying to look tough.

I have to agree with the tattoo artist above me. It is individual preference. Just because someone says that's what it means doesn't necessarily mean that to the person who got the tattoo. My son is an avid tattoo fan and has many tattoos on his body, but they don't mean anything, they are just an artistic expression.

it depends under what eye.
under one eye it means he has killed someone
under the other eye it means someone close to him has been killed say a family member
which eye is which i dont know off the top of my head but im sure you can google it instead of waiting here

It means whatever you want it to mean.
Any kind of design, from the tear at the eye, or a spider web on the elbow.................means whatever you want it to. Maybe the guy is sad that he's in jail for the rest of his life......
as for the spider web......maybe it's just a good idea to put in a difficult place to fit anything else................who knows........?

yeah its a symbol of how many peoples the guy has killed...suburban kids are jumpin on the identification badwagon that prisoners use because a bunch of white preppy kids at my sisters high school have little lines shaved in their eyebrows...each line symbolizes how many girls virginitys they have taken...i personally think it makes them look like vanilla ice haha
