be careful as some train operating companies do no not run a service on a boxing day as it is an ideal time to run essential engineering work

again the winter timetables are not in operation till the 10th of september but keep your eye on the national rail website closer to the time

You don't say going to London from where. However, Boxing Day services are usually much like Sunday services. However, no timetables for the Christmas period 2007 will be published until much later in the year - sometimes only 6 weeks or so before the holidays.
