you will need two brushes and some strong hairspray (aerosol not the spritz). it might be easiest to ask a friend for help. starting in the front, with one brush on each side of your head, you're going to use the brushes to pull and hold your hair up. hold the two brushes together when you reach close to the ends of your hair and then hairspray your hair while holding it up. don't be afraid of the hairspray. use a lot. while still holding your hair with the brushes, blow dry the hairspray dry. use a low setting, you don't want to blow to over. repeat all the way back then spray some extra hair spray when you're finished. if you have any trouble, it doesn't hurt to bend over like you're trying to touch your toes. that tends to make it easier to get it to stand up when you're having trouble.

Dry hair, and preferably a day or two unwashed.
Then you tease it from the roots up.
To tease you take a comb and a small section of hair and brush backwards really fast in short strokes, starting at the roots and working your way up.
Then get some good hairspray and you spray like theres no tomorrow. Or you could gel, wax, ect..

in case you have a quick mohawk, I recommend utilising a styling glue. Ice is an person-friendly one contemporary in each hair junk aisle, yet there is an off-form that's far extra fee-effective. The call escapes me on the 2nd, even though it incredibly is accessible in a yellowish-orange bottle. in case you have a protracted ’hawk, I recommend utilising Rave #4 hairspray. those issues defies gravity, and is affordable! upload purely somewhat of watered down glue on the information to maintain spikes from splitting. i don't probable advise Elmer’s glue because of the fact it wreaks havoc on hair, and removing it incredibly is a *****.

you'll need a sculpting gel. got2b makes a gel [i think it's called glue] specifically for mohawks && liberty spikes. you can get it at any drugstore. don't use TOO much, though, because too much will make your hawk fall.
got2b also makes a freeze spray [i used to use it when i teased my hair] that will make your hair rock-hard - it's pretty good when you want your hair to stay up && about.

use gel to shape it.. then shave the lower parts and side .for a true mohawk.. you can always add color to the mohawk, or write something in scape on the shaved part as well..
