I would say the most popular Armenian singer is Aram Asatryan even though he passed away this year, he is still #1 for most people.
Other good singers are....
Armenchik, Tata, Joseph, Andy, Nana.

No idea, why don't you type armenia in the answers search box and check on a question about Armenia and ask the armenian answerers about it. I have to warn you though. Some of the answerers are really racists, although I doubt if they will confront you as you ask them about their country's singers.
