You can lose wieight eating frozen dinners as long a you have a calorie deficiency (burn more calories than you consume), and you exercise. However, this isn't the greatest idea becase frozen dinners have a lot of perservatives and not enough vitamins and minerals. Once in a while is okay, but it's important that you make fresh meals.

you can lose weight if you stick to the healthy frozen dinners, like Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice or Weight Watchers. I eat Lean Cuisine and Weight Watchers often and have lost lots of weight. I haven't eaten too many of the new South Beach meals. I pack the food I'll eat at work, with 5-6 small meals during the day. I drink water all the time and exercise nearly every morning first thing before breakfast.

I agree with Inga Z in theory, but I understand that it's not really possible for some of us to do that. The best way to find good ones is trial and error. And look at labels b/c sometimes things say they are low calorie but the calorie count is so high to begin with that low calorie for that particular product is still pretty high. I couldn't stop eating Special K bars when I was dieting. Those things are so good and perfect for when you need a snack. Also, no frozen dinner in the history of the world has been as good as it looked on the box. Good luck.

Those frozen meals have so much salt added as a preservative you are better off eating other foods. The frozen dinners every once in awhile aren't too bad, but I wouldn't make a diet of it.

When you go on a diet you need to feel satisfied and happy with your meal..Frozen food a) Has very little/no nutrients and the serving is really small. When this is the case you do not feel fool/satisfied. You will be craving to eat something else etc..Try going with something more sensible. Remember you should never be hungry even when you are dieting....or else your plan to be on diet will not last...

Frozen dinners are pretty bad for you. It is true you can lose weight on this diet if their is a caloric deficiency throughotu the day. Alot of the ingredients however predispose you to store as much bodyfat as possible.

yes, you can lose weight...and, in the past I did lose weight on those diet dinners, but, for me the portion seemed small, so what I did was take a frozen pkg. of brocolli, or any frozen veg. and, mix it with (once cooked) the diet dinner, maybe add some garlic seasoning, or the seasoning of your choice...
