My bangs were bleached to a white blonde, then hot hot pink was applied.

I want to fix the pink different, but I have to get it out first. I'm not bleaching it to get it out, so what will get it out?

I did the same thing, but with a diff color & diff brand. look on the back & see what exactly the directions say. Mine says it will last 5-40 washes (big range) & after a week I had to re-color it becuase iot was fading. The only thing I can suggest is washing it over & over & over, mabey even with a special shampoo?

Wow, I hope you didn't do it as soon as you bleached it! It may be a LONG time before it comes out if you did that.. It may never come out! You need to continue to try and wash it out, that's the only way... Or you might have to cut it off. Or just stick with the way the pink is now... That way you won't have any more problems with it. I really hope it comes out for you, becuase my mother was a hair stylist, and se knows about that kind of stuff and she always told me tat someone should never try and dye their hair for awhile after bleaching it, cause it may ruin your hair, or it may never wash out. But don't worry, even temporary things should come out... But you might want to read the back instructions (if there is any) It might tell you the best way to remove it....

Well, I wish you luck! <3 Sarah!

Manic Panic is a semi permanent hair coloring product. Usually, semi-permanent dyes only slightly penetrate hair. And, depending on a couple of factors depends on how long it will take to get the dye out of it. One, did you rinse your hair with vinegar, immediately after it was applied? If so, it will last longer. It usually can take up to 8 weeks to wash the product out of bleached hair--sometimes less. Normal semi-permanent hair coloring products that contains peroxide can take up to 25-30 (or more) hair washings to get the product out. I can't remember if the product has peroxide in it or not, off hand, but I do know that it does take a while to wear off/wash out and I would compare it to the peroxide dyes. Just continue to wash it. It will take a while. You can attempt to dye it a darker color/more natural or another color, if you want--until you grow the bleached section out of it.

Good luck!

Saliza: I would not suggest that you not try that yourself,
unless you know what was used, to make the pink color, you won't know what will take it out .There are color removers made they are harsh on the hair, so first find out what the colorist used ....good luck
