I see fellow Christians that have the passion and the love for Christ that they would tell the world if they could about Jesus Christ and His saving grace. This is wonderful.
There is much that a Christian can do but there is something that only God can do and that is convict the sinner of their sins. An atheist for example cannot come to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ unless the Spirit of God opens their eyes to see God. For them this makes no sense because their eyes are closed.
I am not saying give up on spreading the gospel but I am saying do only your part and the rest leave it to God because it takes a supernatural intervention of the Holy Spirit for them to be convicted in their heart firstly of God's love and then of their sinful life. Pray more and more prayer
I don't think one could answer when anyone will get the message but if you want to try by all means, look forward to your reply

You waited on God? Don't make me laugh, Abraham waited 25 years before the son God promised to him was born through his barren wife who was 90 years old at the time and Abraham was 100.
What I don't understand is what did you wait on? A new car, house, job, wife, money, power, fame or did you wait for Him to reveal His saving grace to you and give you eternal life to glorify His name forever?
Next time God comes round and makes you an offer accept it, it could be last time He does

Only God can actually touch that person's heart. However, we are not responsible for that part. What we ARE responsible for is being obedient and presenting the opportunity to people by way of presenting the Gospel to them, as commanded by Christ. If we have the opportunity and we do not, then we are responsible if that person dies without coming to know the Lord. We don't know but that the time that we were to present the Gospel was the time appointed by God that this person would be saved.
Another way to look at it is that we are the watchmen on the wall. We are responsible for giving the warning when danger approaches. If we do, it is the responsibility of the people to get ready. If we do not, we share the responsibility with them because we did not speak up.

Many is the time that something read or heard or seen at some point in our lives "clicks" and the door within us opens just a crack, but enough for the Lord to shine through to them.
Every part of the body of Christ has a different area in which they are blessed when they "do" and nothing is futile.
We are spreading the seed, and even if it takes 10 years, or 20, etc.,.for the seed to find nutriment and begin to grow, nothing has been wasted if even 1 survives the harvest.
God be with you :)

Some people stay blind until an accident happens to them, they have to either die for a few moments, or come so close to dieing before their third eye opens to reveal the light.
We were made in the image of God, so you are not less than God, you've only been held back by humans depicting what the scriptures state. They dictate what they feel is truth, and the truth is not to follow them but to follow any messenger from God. One messenger was not better than another. Each messenger told the same message, some people altered those messages to make people follow them and not
God in which was the way he intended.

I believe we as Christians are so happy with Jesus and the word of God that we want to spread His word. We push it because we do not want unsaved people to go to hell. We want all to go to heaven with Jesus. I use to be the same but now I understand that if I plant just a tiny seed God can do the rest on His own. Jesus doesn't need our physical help. All we need to do is plant the tiniest seed and God will come with the Miracle Grow.

Prayer is our most powerful tool. God will do the rest. My heart really goes out to people like your first answerer who said that he has waited for years... The God I got to know hates nobody. He might hate sin, but not people.

I'd like to know what, exactly, is sinful about my life.
Not having a sky daddy to guide you may make YOU a criminal, but personally, I have a conscience and common sense, compassion and an appreciation for life. I don't need threats or fear to be a good person.

Got the message - but I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength. That doesn't mean I can convert anyone, but I can talk to the people he wants me to so he can do the "gardening" on the seed planted.

What has God got against all these people whose eyes he didn't open? Does he enjoy sending people to eternal torment?
