There is no way Nascar would risk what they have to fix races for Jeff. The sport is more popular than ever why would they do something like that?!? I was watching the race on Sunday with my Nascar trackpass on and he let off the gas and I knew Newman was right on his tail, and then Newman came into the picture (This was all under a commerical break) and then jeff was yelling CAUTION NOW NOW NOW! and he got back on the gas and was just ahead of Newman when the caution came out... I could not believe what had happened!!! Jeff said it was raining so hard he had to get out of the gas...
All I could think about were the Gordon haters... Since my computer was right there it only took about 3 minutes before someone was saying "Nascar is fixed."
The bottom line is that God has been great to Jeff all year... With all this luck he is going to have a baby this year too! I doubt he will ever forget this year, and the luck he has had so far...
As for the haters if they really think that Nascar is fixing races, they need to grow up and start accepting things! Number one Nascar does not have it in for JR, DEI, or anyone else... Have you all ever heard the expression "Good things happen to good people" Just accept it...

It rained petty much all day Lousy day to hold a race, IMO. Second-guessing it may have been better to hold it Monday, but not knowing what the weather report for that part of PA was, it's a wild guess.
It's like they say in poker, the winners laugh while the losers whine "shut up and deal".

Yes Nascar is stupid and only Hendrick is rich enough to pay off God. Duh. Everyone knows its is fixed before the season starts. The only reason NASCAR lets anyone but Hendrick win is to throw of any suspicion. We all know that Tony Stewart could care less about winning. Jeff Gordon just lucked out.
P.S. All of the above was BS.

They don't fix the races, or the weather, Just the points and the championships. And yes they are stupid enough to think no one has noticed.

I felt sorry for the fans, with such a long rain delay then the shortened race. The race was interesting and had its drama, some teams were lucky with their pit strategies and the rain came at the right time for some.

If the rain had waited a few minutes, Newman probably would have been back in the lead. Would the race still have been "fixed"? Doubt it.

How can anyone not think it is fixed? That caution was timed for Gordon! I may not have felt that way if the caution would have came out a lap earlier when it started raining, but the timing of the caution with the pass makes me suspicious.

The NASCAR Gods made the judgement. They did not want to finish under caution so they"sacraficed" Jimmie for Jeff.

lmao....All this drama makes me laugh! If Jr. was doing as well as Jeff is right now would we be saying Nascar fixed the races for him?
