hi, im need to repaint my kitchen and living room after only after 9 months due to my 2 dogs dirtying one wall in my kitchen and my kids dirty hand prints umm all over the place lol. i need a paint that is totally wipeable that will not wipe off due to me wiping dirt etc off. has anyone got any reccomendations of a brand?

you should go to home depot and ask a employee they will give you lots of information about wipeable paint. I know they have it just dont know what its called.

Try Dulux Real Life paints. I find painting in a darker colour helps too such as the Roasted Red.
On lighter colours its easier to repaint than wash off repeatedly. I decant the paint into coffee jars after I have emulsioned a room. When the wall gets dirty, I line the roller tray with plastic food film and quickly re-roller the marked wall.
As long as you use the same paint batch it matches in.

Hey, dont use oil based paint on plastered walls, it can cause some problems after time. Most manufacturers have a diamond brand of paint, and best of all, you can get in a matt finish, you can use silk, but I personally think silk emulsion always looks a lil like a public toilet. Dulux diamond matt is very good, Johnstones do the same thing at around half the price.

I don't know which country you live in - the paint brands differ everywhere. The Crown paint is very good, or Dulux. Basically in any paint brand they have specialists paint - for the hallway, for the kitchen etc. Just look for durable paint for high-traffic areas, and washable. Sometimes the DIY shops have sell their own paint - and this is usually quite good and less expensive then well-known brands.

Higher quality water-based paints contain more binder, which helps prevent stains from penetrating the painted surface, allowing for easy removal. Priming new surfaces provides maximum film thickness of a premium top coat, providing very good stain removability.

Dulux is by far the best paint in the UK for washing down. My youngest grandson delightful child that he is, drew rockets and witches on his bedroom wall at Halloween with a wax crayon, and, after ironing the wall with brown paper to get rid of the wax, my son scrubbed the paint and it didn't come off!

Yes; it does depend upon where you live as to brands. However, all places provide choices of seveal types of paint tat is washable. Try your local hardware or paint center to talk to them about which is best for your needs. Gernerally glossy or semi-glossy paints for the kitchen are recommended and are usually washable.
Dutch Boy, Benjamin Moore, or Kelly paints are good in the U.S.; Dulux is great in the U.K., but it is the formula you are interested.

BUY DULUX DIAMOND MATT it is a matt finish (so it will hide imperfections that silk shows up) it is scrub able it is more expensive but you can wash it no need to re decorate
