Sweetie, we are all praying and asking God that you come back to us very soon and see that your words of wisdom have been taken to heart. Each moment is a treasure, and we've learned that from you, along with a lot of other valuable lessons.

God bless you, angel girl. You're loved more than you know.

Debra, I realize what a beautiful and precious gem *you* are. I hope to read more questions from you. You have been given a terrific insight into how precious and fleeting and fragile life is...and that is why I have a button saying, "Oh, no, not another learning experience!" I hope you can choose a best answer and post another question *soon*.

Indeed we do take the moments of our lives for granted. However, life has a way of opening our eyes to the fact that we have wasted precious moments. Especially, when you lose a loved one that you kept saying you would call and go visit and didn't! That will cause you to redefine priorities!

Truly, I think it takes death, illness, or the like to get us focused on such fragility of life! Our own moments and others as well!

And the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you too! Gail

I do not take anything for granted. Every moment with my children for better or worse, the food in our bellies, roof over our heads, the sunlight, rain, a safe warm bath, every breath we take...everything.

When I was very young I saw a loved one die. I still remember him gasping for his last breath...then I lost another one and then a young friend died of Lukemia. Around that same time I choked on something and had to be rushed to hospital.

It isn't that I felt that spoiled before all this, I deeply appreciated my life, I loved nature, talked to trees and anilmals, would lie on the grass and take it all in pondering the wonder of it all.

Experiences either serve to strengthen and or to numb sometimes. So I really mean it when I say I appreciate every breath I and my loved ones take.

I have moments I wish I could love in, live in forever, like walking with my youngest son on his paper route, watching him studiously moving along in the sunlight and shadows over the walkways, through yards and gardens...gliding up and down the steps of peoples front porches.

I can barely hang on to what we have. Everything seems like such a battle, one step foreword five steps back. I feel like I let my children down by not being and providing everything I wanted for them. But every moment, every second...I can't imagine life without my family.

I have to sell my home because I can't afford to keep this one. I am lucky to have had the one I have now despite all the problems! I have been spending a lot of time in the garden. I am struck by the beauty and positive energy of it. I turned the garden organic when we got this house. I have worked on it for seven years. It is wild looking...flowering shrubs and plants popping up everywhere including Dandilions! LOL! Hey! I could eat my lawn if I had to! LOL! We are going to have the largest crop of edible berries we have ever had here! Amazing! Anyway... it was so beautiful this spring I have litterally been in awe.

I appreciate that we are moving on to a new life and I know we will make the very best of it where ever we are! Have an awsome day everyone!

Peace, appreciation and love!

I know I take them for granted. After all the hell that has been in my life it would make sense that I would treasure the good moments and acknowledge them. Unfortunately it is so easy to just get caught up in life and the will to survive that I don't even notice when I am actually happy.

and heaven in a wild flower,
to hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
and eternity in a single hour.

Everyday i try to see the beauty in life around me, i regularly stop and watch the sun as it sets and i look to see the pictures in the clouds, i look for the man in the moon and watch for shooting stars to make wishes upon.
I rejoice in the song of creation, the sounds of the universe buzzing with splendor around me, my own heart beat adding to the rhythm of the song,
we often focus on the future and things that are still to come, or we fall into the trap of focusing too much on the past...on things we can no longer control, it unfortunately seems that in our busy lives do we stop and spend enough time on the present... for that is all we really ever have just this moment....

So before it is too late, stop and think...

Think about the wonder of the gift of creation, be POSITIVE, be HAPPY, SMILE more and frown less.
You don't need to be spiritual or religious, it is not about race or beliefs, it is just about Honor.... HONOR to the fact that we are given the gift of life... the least we can do is appreciate it and enjoy it to the maximum that we are able!
