Have them go to a city that is close to the sea. A Turkish vacation isn't a vacation without seeing the Mediterranean! It would also be beneficial if you pick a city that is close to some historical sites for your wife and children to visit. Lastly, (and it's not really advice) is that there are many British tourists in Turkey so your kids might be able to find some kids there age who speak English. Just a side note.

Turkey is great for children. They will have a lot fun and they will visit a lot of historical places.

Choose an all-inclusive hotel on the south-west coast. They will love it there. All 5star hotels, absolutely delicious food (eat all you can, all day long), great facilities for all ages. Very hospitable personnel.
