There are ones that are based on logic.

For example, 'if you break a mirror, you get seven years bad luck' comes from the fact that mirrors used to be very expensive and breaking one would quite possibly, even probably, cause you poverty for many years.

You haven't defined 'superstition' but since all atheists and evolutionists consider ALL of the Bible to be superstitious, I will mention ONE (there are many more) belief (and practice) Moses wrote about 3,500 years ago.

Circumcision should be done on the EIGHT day.

Only within the last THIRTY years has science found out why ON THE EIGHT DAY. Before that, it was superstition !!

A new-born baby's ability to fight off diseases decreases while his blood-clotting ability increases. Based on LINEAR PROGRAMING, the two graphs intersect at the EIGHT day.
