As long as it is old enough to hold it's bladder overnight, it won't. Dogs don't pee where they sleep. If it is a tiny puppy it could have an accident just because it can't hold it's bladder overnight. I have 6 chis that sleep with me, and the only problem is who gets the most covers.

I have one and she is the bomb! Dogs do not pee in their or your bed. It is a conditioned thing that they know not to do it. They may pee or poop in the bed if they are angry at you or trying to get your attention. For example my dog used to go with me everywhere even my old office. I spoiled her and she had to learn to stay home alone. If I tell her I will be right back and I am gone all day, she may get mad at me and go in the bedroom, which is rare for her to do. You will not have to worry but if the dog is a baby baby then the dog will have an accident or so until trained. Chihuahua's are a harder breed to potty train. My dog is 5 years old and she get's lazy and rather pee in the house then go outside the patio when it is really cold. My dog eats and goes around 3 in the morning. They say that soon after they eat they will go. Chihuahuas are great dogs for the owner. They are very protective and jeolous of their dominant owner. The dogs usually like to sleep under the covers or go into a cave type of blanket, enviorment ect even when it is too warm. They also like to go around in a circle about 4 or 5 times to make their perfect spot in the fabric or under the covers.....If the dog pees in the bed, there is a problem because they know there bed and this is not what they do...

I don't have a Chihuahua but I have a very tiny Yorkie {1.5 pounds} and she sleeps with me and most nights she is find as long as she is taken out before bedtime. There has been a couple nights that she woke me up to take her out though.
Good luck!
