Believe in what? saved from what? All we need to believe is that there is a God, and it is not us.

I think that was a leftover from the times when those who do not think like us are not us. So if you think like us you will be saved but if you dont think like us well... to hell with you. But in times past someone could accuse you of not "believing" and in a bat of the eye your tied up to a post and set on fire. Pretty hard to believe when your on fire. So, then what is this "saving grace" you have brought to mind? If you don't know something and not knowing so has brought you into harms way... someone informs you and now you know there is a danger there and you avoid it you have been saved where once you were blind and not saved.
I hope I explained it well enough. Like the song Amazing Grace...

My belief would win no prizes in any traditional church. I believe people must follow their conscience and do what they believe is the correct path to be saved. If there is doubt about correctness, a well trained conscience will always provide the answer.

Exactly. Look at what Romans 10:9-10 says one must do to be saved:
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

If a person does not believe they do not require saving, nobody really requires saving and there is no such thing as being saved in this context but some religious folk choose to believe this is real ...good luck with that..
It's great to know that not everybody believes or has faith in a delusional doctrine of sin and salvation, it's only believers who require salvation... in their own minds.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
whoever believes WILL be saved, but God judges the others. I do not know His judgement. But I hope everybody knows about God and Jesus and they follow the teachings of Jesus with sincere heart, because all is true.

Yes, but it isn't that simple. In Acts 2:38 it is explained that to be saved you must
1) Repent
2) Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
3) You will then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (proof of this is speaking in tongues)

Yes this is pretty basic. If you don't believe that Jesus died for your sins so that you can have everlasting life and more importantly that he rose from the dead then no, you are not Saved.

If a person doesn't believe Jesus Christ is their personal savior they are not Saved. Punter is a freak, don't listen to him.
