From a capitalist and corporate slavery point you t.v. / football heads today are lambs to the slaughter and easy pickings ! Why walk round advertising on your clothes, bags, wrappers etc. and in the spoken gob farting garbage heard day in day out ? What or who the hell is a "celeb" ? Where's the artistic creativity.... the ethos with the earth and elements, in these " billboard " people?
What's on your tracksuit top today ? I wear hemp clothing and am totally, permanently logo free. Much harder wearing, colourful and more comfortable. (The clothing also that is !)

Hemp clothing is the best! Feels wonderful. If people could actually learn to be nice and discover compassion and platonic love, the principles of the 60's could flower again. Unfortunately, with telly now babysitting adults, telling them what they NEED, so they'll rush out and buy, buy, buy, it would be hard to get people to start thinking about anything again that doesn't involve their greed. People have become magpies. Oooohhh!!! It sparkles! I must have it!

No branding for me-I'm no bloody cow.

Give me a break, and pass that joint!

Imagine..several thousand young people at an open air concert, several big name bands performing for free...people bathing naked in the lake, people getting high, people enjoying the music...and NO violence, NO problems...when it's all over, the field is actually cleaner than before they got there, and the farmer would have them again, any time.
Woodstock.
It will never happen again, I'm afraid.
For a very short time, a few young folks had hold of their innocence...but the world quickly snatched it away. They came close to finding Eden...almost had it in their trembling hands...
But Satan saw what was happening, and quickly moved in to put a stop to it.
Honestly, I don't think we'll ever come that close in this world again....

Unfortunately it is part of history now, i don`t think we could revive it , however certain values can be achieved and lived by some, keeping freedom of spirit and trying to work toward a non aggressive race, be less materialistic and happy with a slower pace of life.
It will never be forgotten, i have a copy of "Woodstock" the movie and every now and then really enjoy watching it. Pity i Couldn`t be there and part of it, was only 9 at the time...

The sixties: Sex & drugs & rock n roll. The Americans were empire building and failing (Vietnam rather than Iraq). Israel was having a war with it's neighbours. People were obsessed with TV (fewer channels - we all watched the same drivel). The older generation were convinced that anyone under 20 was a drug fuelled mugger. What was so different (apart from sawdust in the beer)?

The 60's is when the new age of media kicked in. As for greed and war they've been part and parcel of Western development from ages ago. Them drug loving yogis should of taken their heads out of clouds and they would have known that.

Too late. Pandora's box of greed and keeping up with the Joneses has been opened. It will take a cataclysm of global proportions to make us realise that we don't need a new car and a big screen TV to be happy.
