Saddam Husain didn't have any weapons of mass destruction. Why US troops are still there? Bush keeps talking about stabilizing security. Ban Ki Moon UN Secretary General almost got killed when a bomb hit the conference building. I wonder what US troops were doing at that time.
If Ban Ki Moon was killed, whose fault would it be?

Of course we all have our opinions some more popular than others but that doesn't make them right. I will give you mine you can decide for yourself. First off let me say although Bush seems slow and confused at times I think his heart is in the right place, at least he believes it is anyway. The reason we sent troops to Iraq was to spread Democracy in a country that has been tyranicly ran by a mad man for 50+ years. I believe that our belief as a nation is all government should be democratic where people have a chance to vote for who they think is the best canidate and I believe also it is the goal of our government to remove anyone from power no matter where in the world that stays on power to long and abuses his people with an iron fist. I think the idea Bush had origanally was to take out the whole axis of evil, but thanks to the morons in the Abu Grab (spelling) prison ordeal it got all F*#ked up. Most of Iraq was happy to have us remove Saddam until that happened now they hate us.

Thanks, Thorgirl! Thanks for posting all those quotes. Some of them are SO startling to read NOW after listening to the Dims claim that the war is "For Oil," and it is really odd that these quotes never got the coverage they deserved. Most of these dims who were "pro-war" while Clinton sat behind-the-desk in the Oval Office, are now claiming that the war was wrong. They must have known that WJC was spineless and hoped that Algore would continue the "struggle" were he elected to office.

This lack of media coverage at the time may have been due to the coverage that the Lewinsky story "demanded" at the time. Funny how these people like to paint themselves as pacifists now. When a Dim sat behind the desk in the White House, they were all too eager to paint themselves as "warmongers."

Ditto what thorgirl said
Also this war isn't about oil, we've lost far more money than could ever be recouped by oil.
Additionally, I would like to ask for Thorgirls hand in marriage

Because Sharon told him to do so! Or the Sheiks of Saudi Arabia gave him his instructions! Take your pick! Either way he hasn't made his own decision yet!
