Some individual texts that refer to the holy spirit (“Holy Ghost,” KJ) might seem to indicate personality. For example, the holy spirit is referred to as a helper (Greek, pa•ra′kle•tos; “Comforter,” KJ; “Advocate,” JB, NE) that ‘teaches,’ ‘bears witness,’ ‘speaks’ and ‘hears.’ (John 14:16, 17, 26; 15:26; 16:13) But other texts say that people were “filled” with holy spirit, that some were ‘baptized’ with it or “anointed” with it. (Luke 1:41; Matt. 3:11; Acts 10:38) These latter references to holy spirit definitely do not fit a person. To understand what the Bible as a whole teaches, all these texts must be considered. What is the reasonable conclusion? That the first texts cited here employ a figure of speech personifying God’s holy spirit, his active force, as the Bible also personifies wisdom, sin, death, water, and blood. Acts 7:55, 56 reports that Stephen was given a vision of heaven in which he saw “Jesus standing at God’s right hand.” But he made no mention of seeing the holy spirit. (See also Revelation 7:10; 22:1, 3.)

No.

If the holy spirit were an entire person, it would seem rather dismissive to refer to "him" as a mere "finger".

(Matthew 12:28) But if it is by means of God’s spirit that I expel the demons, the kingdom of God has really overtaken you.

(Luke 11:20) But if it is by means of God’s finger I expel the demons, the kingdom of God has really overtaken you.

No, is not a person. Is really simple, in the Bible God almighty and God's son have a personal name not the holy spirit since the first reference to it in the Bible says it's God's property.."Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters".(Genesis 1:2) In the end is just this The holy spirit is God's power or energy With he created all.

The qualifications for a person are that they have 1. A mind 2. their own will 3. and emotions, as personal human beings we all have these qualities all of these are qualities. Also a quality of being personal is that one has life. A person is identified as a self-conscious being, cognizant of its own existence and the existence of others who also have a self-identity. A will indicates the ability to think, to reason, a choice to act, having desire these are things we associate with self consciousness which is exclusive to Persons. All of these qualities the Holy Spirit has, just as the Son and Father. We find the Holy Spirit is the executive of the Father. He is co-creator of the universe, The author of divine Scripture, the generator of Christ’s humanity, the regenerator of the believer and the distributor of eternal life.

The Holy Spirit is identified as a Person by John, using in the Greek the masculine ekeinos in Jn.16:13. The Holy Spirit is presented as a personal being with a self-identity different from both the Father, and the Son. As the Father and Jesus make this distinction when speaking of Him. He the Holy Spirit says "Separate Barnabas and Saul to me;" He also is identified as "I" in Acts 13:2.

It is a mystery to them bro because they are relying on an english translaion of a latin document which was translated from ancient greek and Jesus and his disciples spoke Aramaic which is a dead language and had it been still used none of the gospels are written in it.

One of the answers clearly reveals their polytheism (At teh SAME TIME Jesus was being baptized by John??? and his supposed father said from heaven this is my son and teh mysterious Holy spirit appeared as a dove in the sky???

This verse and those like it in John of the new testament are referring to a new Prophet who will lead the WORLD into all truth and comfort the masses and rebuke evil and he will be with the Spirit of Truth which is in the Qur'an Gabriel "And it (this Qur'an) was revealed by the Spirit of Truth" (Qur'an chapter (Shu'ara) 26:193)

This is Jesus prophesizing the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (May God's Peace and Blessings be upon them both).

There is only one God. God has three personalities. God the Father, Son (aka Jesus), and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a personality of God. The three personalities of God are referred to as the Trinity (meaning three in one). a good example of the Trinity is when Jesus was baptised. Jesus was on earth, God spoke saying how pleased he was with Jesus, and the Holy Spirit came down on Him in the form of a dove.
