Not every Christian believes that you can lose your salvation. Everything that Tim H said is true; however, you can't really reject a gift if you have already received it, right?
I am of the opinion that once saved, always saved. No matter what you do you are still a "child of God" even if you stop doing the things you are "supposed" to do.
You can miss out on the relationship with God without losing salvation.

You're realising the quandary with utilizing religion to discover fact, I commend you for coping with that realisation having been a Christian. You've already replied your possess query. There isn't any "I see what you imply, however you have got bought the incorrect suggestion approximately how religion works", you hit the nail at the head. Something you KNOW to be real is anything testable or observable, or else you haven't any intent to have believed it within the first location. Drop a pencil, it is going to fall each time if placed below the equal stipulations. This is a reality. With religion, you are saying you TRIED to think, and that is the center of devout religion; you need to wish it to be truly. It's variety of like a grumpy trainer with a gentle spot for one child on account that he is lovable. Child a million throws a paper aeroplane, brat with detention. Child two throws a paper aeroplane, brat with detention. Child three throws a paper aeroplane, I decide upon this child so I'm certain he was once simply becoming a member of in, I'll permit it slide. Likewise, devout religion works on criticising the whole lot else harshly however now not making use of the equal ideas for your possess faith. You'll discover Atheists posting questions approximately such contradictions always, with the typical reaction of "the Christian God is the only real God" as their explanations. I advise watching at Christians debating with Muslims over who has the extra legitimate faith, and watch as they make precisely the equal claims then inform each and every different their arguments are unsuitable. My holy ebook is traditionally correct and yours is not. I can suppose the presence of my God so I recognize he is the truly one. I have religion. Your holy ebook is a hoax however mine is truly on account that it is the phrase of the real God on account that it says so. Really check out asking it on right here and notice the responses you get from men and women utilizing religion to intent it out; religion that relies on criticising the whole lot the opponent says then letting it slide whilst it similarly disproves their possess faith. Remember chiefly, fact is not a democracy. You can not decide on the only you favor such a lot and soar to conclusions it is reality. It's all approximately what is testable and observable; something else is both fake or now not anything we will be able to verify at this factor. Anyone that says you have to simply have religion, see their response while you inform them to think about Allah, they are going to inform you that "you have to have religion" is a horrible declare to make so they can most effective lead you down the incorrect direction.

You can't unless you truely wish to lose it. There is only one sin that is said to be unforgive-able and that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. That means knowing who God is, Understanding His message of salvation and consciously choosing to mock and reject God. It is not an accidental thing, but rather a conscious choice to reject God's free gift, a gift which can never be taken from you save by your own free will.

Punter, was that SUPPOSED to make sense?
Jazzy, what part of the "Christian faith" are you making reference to? The Christian faith says that humanity deserves damnation, not salvation, but Jesus offers salvation through his blood shed on the cross, if we accept it, confess our sins and turn our back on them and follow Him.
You can lose faith.
You can still rebel against God.
You can have a change of heart and mind.
Because you are Christian doesn't make you an automaton. You still have free will and make your own decisions.
Your relationship with God is dynamic, not static.
You are right, you do not deserve it. It is a gift. But a gift can be rejected.
Sad angel, ever known anyone who got engaged, and received an engagement ring when she said "yes? Ever known anyone who got married? The bride and groom give each other rings as gifts during the ceremony. At least we did.
Ever known of anyone who got divorced? The rings are given back when the relationship is over.
Of COURSE you can reject a gift after it is received. (Ever seen the exchange line at Walmart on the day after Christmas?)
If there is no relationship, there is no salvation.
The faith relationship IS salvation.

We don't keep salvation all by our own efforts. We do our best and let God do the rest (aka grace).
It is Christ's sacrifice that saved me. It is God's grace (as above) that keeps me saved.

Jesus is our sacrificial lamb, who shed his blood for you to cleanse away all of your sins: past, present and future. If you have faith in him you are not under the law, because he full filled the law and nailed it to the cross (Colossians 2: 14)
You are justified by your faith (Romans 5:1) and not of your works! It is a gift (Ephesians 2: 8 - 9 ) 8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast! Only you can loose your faith by free will!
DO NOT ASK FOR FORGIVENESS! PLEASE! THEN IT WILL NOT BE A GIFT!

O Bible Believers, why not you reveal your god that Jesus has paid the price of your crimes and sins?
Most of culprits, sinners, alcoholic, adulterous and transgressor Christians are being afflicted with painful torments like STD (Sexually transmitted diseases) including AIDS, Hepatitis. Why not you tell your god that Jesus has paid the price and do not afflict us due out sins, crimes and transgressions??? Or your sins, crimes and transgressions exceeded than price paid by Jesus?????
Savior
I, even I, am Yahweh; and beside me there is no savior…a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me” (43:11; 45:21).
Does Bible refuse to accept the Jesus as ‘Savior’ and rejects the concept of ransom of Christians’ sins and crimes?
Ezekiel 18:20. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
James2:24. Ye see then how that by works a man is just
Matthew 19:16-17. "And behold, one came up to him, saying, "Teacher, what good deed must I do, to have eternal life?" "And he said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments."
Jas 2:26. "Faith without works is Dead"
Proverbs 21:18. “The wicked is a ransom for the righteous, and the faithless for the upright”

Well, I do believe that if a person is saved, they cannot be..."unsaved" unless they refuse it. But I also believe that if we're saved, and we continue to sin, we WILL be judged for it. I believe we will also be judged according to how many people were pushed away from God by observing our sin.
Scary thought. I try not to sin. I know my salvation is a gift, and it can't be taken away unless I refuse it, but it doesn't give me license to sin.
