Pentagon Confirms It Sought To Build A 'Gay Bomb'?

A Berkeley watchdog organization that tracks military spending said it uncovered a strange U.S. military proposal to create a hormone bomb that could purportedly turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals and make them more interested in sex than fighting.

Pentagon officials on Friday confirmed to CBS 5 that military leaders had considered, and then subsquently rejected, building the so-called "Gay Bomb."

Edward Hammond, of Berkeley's Sunshine Project, had used the Freedom of Information Act to obtain a copy of the proposal from the Air Force's Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio.

As part of a military effort to develop non-lethal weapons, the proposal suggested, "One distasteful but completely non-lethal example would be strong aphrodisiacs, especially if the chemical also caused homosexual behavior."

The documents show the Air Force lab asked for $7.5 million to develop such a chemical weapon.

"The Ohio Air Force lab proposed that a bomb be developed that contained a chemical that would cause enemy soliders to become gay, and to have their units break down because all their soldiers became irresistably attractive to one another," Hammond said after reviwing the documents.

I find it outright despicable! It's enough to make Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday roll in their graves! Personally, I find it as a total disgrace to all the men and women who have fought and died by their guns! They sure didn't have the choice to wait for the enemy to 'get off'! This is sick and I am thoroughly disgusted! I am outraged even! Furthermore, I find it downright degrading to those who are homosexuals! They are human beings and this is a gross form of discrimination by our own government! This would send the message that being homosexual is weak, when in reality it is our government who is weak! It stands to fuel the hatred that is already prevalent amongst those who disagree with homosexuality! Whether people agree or not with homosexuality, it absolutely and positively has no place on the battlefield and I am ready to defend human beings! Here is a theory: the government is trying to learn how to control the sexual activity of all people and this is just a small experiment in a huge scheme. If we are focused mostly on each other, than the government will be able to assume total power. Have you ever read "Brave New World"? The people of that society were basically stripped of their humanity and the people in power encouraged sex in order to help control the people.

If that were possible some drug company would already have it. Someone may have scammed some defense contractor but I don't believe that you can make someone gay just by getting him excited. It would be interesting if true and in a reliable medical journal.
