Don't get yourself into that life-style.
Heroin is not pretty. I have friends that used when we were younger and to see them now, breaks my heart. It sounds obvious to me you like getting high, stick to what you do and don't progress. I'll give the same advice I give my children. No matter what you do, keep a head on your shoulders. Well, with heroin, more than likely you won't be able to use your head. You will have nothing more than the addiction that will get you no-where but down.

Great question. My only experience was through the movie "Trainspotting" and the book "This is Christy Dignam" (and of course the song by Lou Reed).

After reading the book about this Irish rock star the last thing you will ever want to do is try heroin.

The constipation that is evident in "Trainspotting" is apparently especially violent. The constipation changes your physiology so that you will never take a normal dump again, at least not for months afterwards.

Don't try it if you value your mental health, family, friends, job, stuff, sexual drive and prowess, skin and digestion. All of them will be at risk.

I highly recommend both "Trainspotting" and "This is Christy Dignam". "This is Christy Dignam" was written with journalist Neil Fetherstonhaugh and published by Merlin publishing. Dignam related his story of rock stardom and drug addiction. The book is so candid and honest about the pain and suffering of drug addiction that it has led one reviewer to say it “should be required reading for anyone hovering on the edges of the drug culture.” If you start it you won't put it down - its a heart breaking story.

Totally agree with sailorboy's answer...heroin/cocaine will totally mess up your life, looks and future. The best thing is to stay away from drugs altogether!!!
