I love listening to little girls try and analize Nascar races. Very funny indeed with there little annotated sighs (uuuuuggghhh). "I don't approve of yesterday's race". Who cares if you don't approve, that's the way it played out, deal with it!! No conspiracy, no cheating...just downright outsmarting the rest fo the field. That's what happens when your the best team out there!

It's really quite amazing when you gather all the information together, and then sit down and listen to what everyone "heard" or "saw". Here is a fact about NASCAR fans; NASCAR fans are the MOST selective hearing people in the world. When you hear information you don't want to hear, you just ignore it and go on with your stubborn ways. Ok people, maybe you'll get it this time...I'll try to go slow:
Yes, they threw a caution for Robby Gordon because not only did his tire go down, it exploded while he was driving around the race track, throwing debris everywhere. Also, NASCAR was still hoping they might get the entire race in at that point. Now, when Jimmie's tire when down, yes, there where sparks, but his tire, fortunatly, did not blow debris all over the track. NASCAR, also, had realized at this point that they would not get the race in. However, they had already gone ALMOST halfway, and rather than end the race under caution, (which many of you would have REALLY let them have it then), NASCAR decided that Jimmie's car wasn't enough of a threat to fly the caution.
Why can't people see that the race yesterday was won by a smart team that just has everything going for them so far this year? That was a GENIUS strategy, and even the announcers agreed, so why can't everyone else see that? If you are really naive enough to think that there is a conspiracy for Gordon to win, then you are out of your mind.
Ohh, and as for the caution flying when it did, even Newman, the driver that almost won, even he said that he thought the caution was going to be thrown a couple of laps earlier, and they were well over half-way at that point. In fact, I think NASCAR was trying their hardest to let Newman get up and challenge for the lead before the rain came. That's why they let it run when, perhaps, they shouldn't have. They were trying to give the race fans something worth watching. Instead, all of you decide to complain about it. Way to go. The race was called JUST as it should have been, so everyone pick all your feathers back up, and get ready for the next race.

Did we watch the same race. There was no debris left on the track from Jimmie. Also JImmie did finish 42nd. I believe Robby did a little better that that. Mother Nature had a huge impact on the race yesterday, not Hendrick.
Would you all feel the same way if Gibbs was in Hendricks position?
I doubt it!

People get real. They didn't throw a caution for Johnson because it was going to rain and didn't want to have to throw the caution until then if they could wait. Also there wasn't debris on the track like with Robby Gordon. Jeff Gordon won because of pit strategy but if Newman could have passed him it might have been a different story.

NASCAR did not want to get to half way under caution. So they deemed Johnson was not a hazard, but he did have the same problem as Robbie and the caution was displayed for his misfortune.

Did you watch the race? Jimmy's car didn't put any debris on the track plus happend towards the end of the track, as for Robby's after they let him try to make it back to the pits, but started putting debris on the track since that happend in turn one, they finally threw a caution. Thats not why Gordon won, he won because his crew chief outsmarted the rest of the field. Lets be real here.

Favortism. Ryan was catching up to Jeff, so they're like no......we can't have that.... let's call it so Jeff wins. And with Jimmie, he also drives for Hendrick, so I believe Nascar officials were totally playing favorites. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a controversy started!

I noticed that too. Something going on with nascar and that Hendrick team. I don't know what, I didn't approve of today's race. The more I think about it, they favored the Hendrick team, in too many ways. I thought the whole race was a big mess.
I know Hendrick fans will disagree, I don't care. It's late and I'm tired so whatever.
