Far less than doctors killed.

You know what? I wonder how many people were killed in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Bosnia, etc? (our military soldiers & civilians who fought for democracy in a country that didn't have it). You get the point? Think about what you are saying before you start something that you cannot finish. It is wrong to just judge the U.S. when all these other countries are going through strife and expecting us to save them. Why do you think that guns are manufactured? To protect us from the strife from the outside. Yes, they are used illegally in this country, but is it better to have them than to not? How would you feel if you physical well-being was put in jeopardy because of what you want to put limitations on? (i.e., police)

Who cares who makes the world's deadliest weapons? Have you not watched the news lately ( the stuff with Russia)? The U.S. and Britain take control and watch more than most countries involved. You also must include NATO. France and Germany are also involved in maintaining world safety.

I wish you the best!

None. There were, however, hundreds of people killed by other people using firearms manufactured in the US. A gun will just lay there until someone picks it up.

A gun is a gun whether it is made in the US, Brazil, Mexico, or Zimbabwe. Any gun is dangerous in the wrong hands. A particular manufacturer making the highest number of weapons used in crimes involving death is simply an indication of their marketing ability, not how deadly their weapons are. If there is a higher percentage of a certain gun out there, its more likely it will be used. Its just math.

I think I understand what you’re asking.

No the US does not produce the most weapons in the world, and the actual number of casualties is unknown.

But to be accurate the most prolific weapon and the weapon most likely to be used in combat and to be involved with killing another person would be the AK-47, a Russian made assault rifle.

The AK-47 is the back bone of countless armies, and is heavily traded in gun markets in third world nations. Some places the cash value of an AK-47 is no more than $12 so it is very popular with smaller armies and militias.

If you had to say one weapon was responsible for the most casualties it would be the AK-47 hands down.

guns cannot kill without a human attached to it. Your question should be how many people were killed by other people using guns. I have owned guns all my life and will continue to do so, and I have never seen a gun, mine or anyone else's injure anyone without the action of a person. I wonder how many people are killed/die from illegal drug overdoses or US made cars, just for comparisons sake. I do not see anyone clamoring to take cars off the road

(as far as the deadliest weapons go)

I believe that record is held by Hiram Maxim & his Machine gun, introduced in 1884. It was quite the marvel of engineering. It fired 600rpm & was durable as all hell. The reason why I'm pretty sure that it holds the all-time record is that Maxim's were employed by BOTH sides during World War I.

People are never killed "by" guns manufactured in the US or anywhere else. People have been killed with guns, by other people. More people die in traffic accidents than in shootings, but they are not killed by cars, they are killed by reckless drivers.

What difference does it make a dead person is dead whether it was by someone driving car, stabbing them to death or shooting them.

The Kalashnikov is the widest spread rifle world wide due to last centuries communist expanse so it would probably be Russia.

33 this year, for internationally reported cases. unknown for those that are not reported internationally.

the paradox of holding a gun: if i hold a gun, im safe. if everyone else, including criminals, holds a gun, am i really safe? perhaps the us citizens ought to take a paradigm shift with regards to this issue.

its an issue, no longer a topic. hence the need for immediate actions.

How many people were burned to death in fires started by Bic lighters?

How many people were killed in car accidents where the car was made in Japan?

Oh, are these stupid questions? Guess you got two back for your one.
