Saying no words at all because if I had said that I had a crush on this girl. she would have been my wife by now. By no I was to shy to say anything. Biggest mistake of my life.

Always remember that when you say something, especially if it is hurtful to someone, that once it is said, it can't be changed. So sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut. Unless you never want the opportunity to have this person back in the future as a friend or anything else. If you must say something, think it out wisely first.
