I used to be a Sabatarian and I used to be a first day of the weeker...Then the Holy Spirit taught me the truth.

EVERYDAY is for worship of the Lord and we find our rest in Jesus Christ not in an image of a day.

Romans 14 & 15

I do not worship on Saturday, but if this is about the SDA church, there is a large population of them in the area where I live. This is yet another case of Satan using one small doctrinal thing to divide and conquer Christianity. The SDAs in our area fly off the handle and rant and rave about how their Christian faith is better than all the other Christian faiths based solely on the fact they worship on Saturday. If they realized how offensive they come across by their insisting that they are the "best" or "only" true Christan faith, I think they might rethink their push. It is just another way for the worldly to look at Christians and point fingers and make up excuses to not follow Jesus. Christianity is about following Jesus Christ and the complete teachings of the Bible? Really, isn't that what all of us Christians want. Christianity was a much stronger religion when it wasn't so divided and when all these religions were not pointing at the faults of the other religions. Saturday or Sunday, it doesn't matter, just worship the Lord Jesus Christ and live for Him. Love is the fruit of the spirit, so it would be nice of Christians would learn to love as Christ loved us.

The Sabbath, now and forever, is the seventh day or Saturday. But God has always expected us to return a portion of what He has given us, and that should be the first portion. So, with the New Testament (Acts), Christians began worshiping on the first day of the week and gave God what was rightfully His.

You should worship everyday. If you are religious 1 day is enough- thats all these institutions require. If you love God with all your heart, mind, body, and strength then 1 day is not enough. What are you calling "worship"? Getting together with other complacent, apthetic people that would rather be doing something else? Read Heb ch 3&4 and enter into the rest of God- the real sabbath.

I am a Christian and respect the Sabbath. But I have to admit, the Jewish Community does a far better job of it than most other beliefs. As I understand it, they do their cooking the day before and the dishes the day after. No running to the store, going fishing or washing the car. The whole day is dedicated to honoring God. We can all take a lesson from them!

Jews and Adventists. But Scripture tells us that the early Christian Church met for worship on the first day of the week, as have Christians ever since. The Apostles recognized that celebrating worship on the day of Christ's glorious resurrection made a lot more sense than celebrating on the day He lay dead in the tomb.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Ex 20:8-11 (KJV)

I certainly don't worship it, but I worship on it by going to Church and spending time with other believers.
