The Bible says that anything that is against gods will is a sin.

Here is how suicide is a sin.
1: killing is a sin, therefore killing yourself is a sin.
2: the reason the word suicide isnt in the bible because the word did not exist back when it was written, the word suicide was invented by Willian Shakespear, along with all the other words that have cide in them that have to do with killing.
It is also considered an unforgivable sin that will condem you to hell. This is because in order to go to heaven, you must be sinless, we become sinless by asking for forgivness. Killing is a sin, so if you killed your self that is a sin, but you cant ask for forgivness is you are dead, so there fore you die, you have sin, so you go to hell.

The word "suicide" is not found in the Bible ! It comes from the Latin "sui" - meaning "of ones self", and "cida" - meaning " to kill" !! Suicide is not a new idea , The Bible records 7 suicides ? Abimelech in Judges 9 : 52 - 54 **** Samson in Judges 16 : 25 - 30 **** Saul in 1 Samuel 31 : 4 **** Sauls` armor-bearer in 1 Samuel 31 : 5 **** Ahithophel in 2 Samuel 17 : 23 **** Zimri in 1 Kings 16 : 15 -20 **** Judas in Matthew 27 : 3 -5 **** ! Jesus taught that "death" and destruction are the work of "the thief" ( Satan ) .. Jesus said , " The thief comes only to steal and destroy"( John 10 : 10 ) **** John 8 : 44 says that Satan is a "murderer" and "the father of lies" ! The feelings of despair that lead to suicide are caused by some of his lies ! *** Do not misunderstand the Promise of Eternal Security because of suicide ! Scripture clearly teaches we are Saved by The Grace of God , not by works. (Ephesians 2 : 8 - 9 ) , and also ; " nothing can separate a Christian from the love of God ( Romans 8 : 37 - 39 ) **** Read In John 5 : 24 " Most assuredly I say to you , he who hears My Word and believes in Him who sent Me , has everlasting life , and shall not come into judgement , but has passed from death into life .. You can also read in John 10 : 27-29 , and also in 1 John 5 : 11 - 13 .. **** However suicide is not what God wants for anyone . We have a God who loves us and cares for us , and promises to meet all our of our needs if we place our trust in Him ( Proverbs 3 : 5 -6 )************* For GrantH ; committing suicide will not keep you from getting into heaven if you are a born again Christian ! I can guarantee that anyone who commits suicide will be in a worse place than if they would have just faced there problems and stayed hear. The only thing is that you will not come back and get a second chance. Suicide should not be an option. Recognize the attacks of the devil and his minions and his oppressions look at job and his situation.

Hmmm... it doesn't mention anything about watching football games, playing on the computer, videotaping women stripping while they don't know it, trading stock shares, visiting strip clubs, a/c in your homes, gasoline...
Just because something is not explicitly stated in the Bible as right or wrong does not mean anything. We have something called a brain to figure out things.

God said that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and He gave His only Son Jesus to save us from our sins so that we may have life and to let us live our lives to the fullest...so we must take care of ourselves...read john 3:16 and John 10:10
