I have some old scars from zits on my face and i can't seem to effectively lighten them. The scars on my legs are due to scrapes that i got when i was younger. I feel so embarassed when wearing skirts! Any help?

I see that someone has already said to try "Mederma". It is a great product that you can get over the counter and the price has finally become reasonable. There is another product that you can try and it has had some success for me as well. It is not generally used for the reduction of scaring.

It is Oil of Olay Eye Regenerist Gel. It comes in a very small little clear jar with a black lid. A little bit goes a very long way. It is a wonderful soothing gel that is meant for around the eyes but I have used it for my entire face and for a very severe scar on my arm that cracks and bleeds. It made a huge difference on my face for everyday wrinkling and scaring from acne. It softened the scar on my arm and aided in the healing of the tissue that was stretched too thin. Both excellent products and worthy of the expense.

Good luck!
