So i was going out with him, he told me he loved me, etc... then he asked another girl out, and then told my friend that he wants to go out with her. she said no.he was bragging that he had 3 girlfriends [well now he only has one]. what should i do?

Well, I really do hope that you are not that 1 girlfriend that he has left. You do not need to be with him... he is not a good candidate for a boyfriend... he wants to play around with different girls. He doesn't sound like he is ready to have a girlfriend. You should not allow yourself to be played over... if he wants different girls in his life then you should just let him go and move on. Ask your self if you really want to be involved with a guy that also wants to date your friends. It is not worth it but I am sure that you already know this... He is into games. Good Luck!

Ditch him! He's just plainly saying that your not good enough for him! Well that is that unless ... You are willing to let him have a mistress if ever the two of you got married ... OR ... you wanted to be his mistress yourself!!! Sorry to be rude but that's the plain truth! Why not try and ask him up front if he's matured enough to cope up with this relationship struggle that the two of you are having right now. If he can't, sad to say but you really have to THROW him away. He's not good enough for you! Besides ... how VERY sure are you that You are his ONLY ONE right now ... and until forever?
