Who else thought the Sopranos series finale was lame?

I've been watching the Sopranos since the 1st episode and the series ended with a wimper.

These last 9 episodes felt like someone other than David Chase took over the show. With the exception of last week's episode the last 9 were boring.

How could they write so many seasons of great shows and screw this one up?

i agree. with the exception of last week, this whole mini-season sucked as did the previous season in my opinion. nothing like it used to be. but that aside, last night's episode was extra sucky. no closure what-so-ever. I hope there is a spin-off with the son, cause he's got a lot of growing up to do and he's got a lot of interesting things to say.

for my area, and that i think of they left it open for interpretation. They replayed a scene on the very beginning up of the teach, the scene the place Bobby and Tony are in a boat and Bobby asks Tony what he thinks it is decide to get whacked, or to die. And Tony solutions some thing like, no longer something, silence, blackness. perhaps We observed threw Tony's eyes as he replaced into being whacked. some thing to think of approximately.

O my goodness! I have been watching also and I was completely let down by the finale. I rewinded the show because I thought it was impossible that it had ended so awfully! I agree...completely lame!

It wasn't lame. You need to understand it before you judge. The screen went black because Tony was shot and killed instantly by the guy who went to the bathroom. It was shot in Tony's POV so the black indicates death
