Oh boy, where do I start?
"There is NO PROOF of evolution!"
"Atheists all secretly believe in God, they just hate Him because they don't want to be held accountable for their sins!"
"The Bible says it, I believe it, that settles it."
"Atheists are immoral/morals come from God/scripture." (completely ignoring the fact that atheists are FIFTY times less likely to go to jail in the US than theists)
"Atheism is a religion/atheism requires as much faith as theism."
"Everything around you is proof that God exists!"
"The majority religion is Christianity, therefore we're right!"
"X could not have formed without God!" <-- ye olde forehead-smacking argument from incredulity/ignorance, especially annoying
And, as quick finish because I don't want to be here all night recounting Christian absurdities: random slapping together of the Big Bang, evolution, and abiogenesis, equating them with each other seemingly at random, and not realizing how distinct they are from each other.

I am an atheist...
Dumbest thing an atheist has said to me? Actually...it was a several paragraph long insult for saying I didn't believe in evolution, and wasnt as yet sure how we got here. He got rather childish, saying did I think I was smarter than all the scientists in the world (not all scientists believe in evolution) and generally dribbled on.
Dumbest thing a Christian has said to me? I quoted a Bible verse that did not agree with her political stance and she informed me that not being Christian, I was blind and therefore could not read, so I would not know what was written in the Bible. Now I am kicking myself, because I just thought of a great come back...I should have said I had a Braille BIble....hahahahah.

I’ve heard atheists say things like “Atheists don’t…” or “All Atheists are…”
And this annoys the heck out of me. Hear I am trying to stress that you can’t pigeon how Atheists because the only thing that makes an Atheist an Atheist is the lack of belief in a god, and here these idiots obviously misunderstand what an Atheist is and they ARE ONE.
As far as Christians go, That whole thing about the bible being true because god says it’s true in the bible…it hurts my head. In fact, all Christian's circular reasoning is very painful for me.

Any claim that the Christian god punishes people is absurd since their god is supposed to love everyone. "I love you, but now I have to hurt you." Isn't that what wife-beaters say? It's the ultimate proof that their god doesn't really exist in the manner in which they describe him.
As for atheist claims, I'd have to go with the stance that god isn't real simply because they can't see him. That's not evidence; that's a simple lack of faith. I can't see my thoughts, but I know they still exist. They should be able to use a better form of logic than that.

the bible is NOT a textbook for science, history, geography, or politics... it is a religious work intended to convey truth about the Judeo-Islamic-Christian God in the Old Testament and the Christian God in the person of Christ in the New Testament. Now, this does not, in my mind, diminish the importance of the Bible in anyway... It just isn't intended to be taken seriously.

THe most absurd thing I have ever heard is also one of the most common. That is that one belief system is "better" than another or right. Who are we to say what is "right". Who here has mastered the ultimate questions of life that they may so freely judge what another person believes.

Agnostic.
Absurd as in funny...that would be "where do non-believers get their morals or why do they get married?"
Absurd as in irritating: "This country (USA) was built on Christian beliefs." That one really drives me nuts.
The most absurb thing I have heard an atheist say is "God couldnt have created us because he wouldnt have made the same exit for children as he does waste" (anatomically speaking)

The atheist would say the most absurd thing they've heard is that There is a God and there is Jesus and the bible is real.
The Christian would say the most absurd thing an Atheist would say is there is no God, Jesus and the Bible is fiction.

I watched a debate between Dawkins and Ted "Crank and Funboys" Haggert today for the first time.
Haggert said "...there are some scientists who believe that the eye and the ear just sprang into existence..."
Dawkins immediately said "I don't know one!"
Haggert pulled some Intelligent Design straight out of his ass (it had some other things withit probably).
Dawkins shot him down immediately.
YES!!
