it been so difficult seen my mom having weird bump on her thigh and wright she said that on her thign doesnt hurt but on her wright it does but the out side of the skin seen to be ok but when u touch it..it's not like our it has like a weird bump she told my sister that she had one on her thign for a couple year and she though it was nothing but now it getting on her wright and elbow and she said that when u touch the wright bump it hurt and i dont know wat to do cuz we cant figure wat it is...someone out there please contact me

I presume you mean the wrist. Please mind your spelling ( use the spell check if u like). First, you need to see whether the swelling is soft (like one's lips), firm (like one's nose) or hard (like the forehead). Soft swelling are commonly lipomas and usually are not painful. Ganglion usually are seen around the wrist, are soft to firm, and may cause some pain , especially when they are large. However they are not found over the thigh. If the swellings are bony, and have been steadily growing in size, you need to see an orthopedic surgeon immediately, as these might be tumors. Swellings especially firm, subcutaneous ones are commonly seen in rheumatoid arthritis, these can become painful & tender sometimes. In this case diagnosis can be confirmed by a simple blood test for rheumatoid factor.

I figured out thign (thigh), but what's a wright? At least you spelled elbow correctly.

probably a sub-cutaneous cyst. See a Dr. he is the only one who can tell for sure what it is.

Is it really solid?

Could be a ganglion cyst .. or something along that line..

They are relatively harmless...
