Are you reporting to the 82nd Replacement company or are you going straight to 1st BCT? You should go to replacement first but I have heard that they are doing away with the replacement companies. But either way, if you get their during duty hours then wear your ACUs. If after then wear whatever but don't show up looking like trash. You'll be sorry you did. Being stationed at Bragg myself, I advise you get your beret ASAP. No PC's in Division

Hey I am a SGT in the Army, your uniform wont matter becasue you will be reporting to the inprocessing center and no one is going to know you, and they wont be in your permanant unit. Everytime I have went to a new duty station I showed up in civilian clothing becasue I was on leave until I sighned in there. The only thing that is a must for you, is of course if you do decide to wear a uniform you better have your wings on it and make sure that your beret is to the standard of Army Regulation 670-1. Good Luck!

ACU, s during duty hours and civilian clothes after retreat. By the way, the entire Division just deployued to Iraq, be prepared to go. It is the first time since WWII that the entire Division has been deployed at once.

Your summer dress uniform is usually the best bet so you don't get labeled as a dirt bag. Always make the best first impression by being the true professional.

I'd report with your dress uniform on; make sure your uniform is up to date with the proper decorations and that your beret is up to reg (specially with the Airborne).
Look sharp as a tack and give your chain of command a good first impression. Good luck and welcome to the division, Airborne!!!

just duty uniform...ACUs
you are just going to the replacement company, they probably are chewed up themselves so don't stress. just pay attention and look sharp when you are going to your unit.
