I suppose it depends on whether or not you were ever able to see before, but how to blind people dream? Is it just sound?

"congenitally blind dreamers and those who became blind in infancy do not have visual imagery in their dreams, whereas

those blinded in adolescence or young adulthood often retain visual mental imagery in their waking life and in their dreams.

These controlled experiments confirm what has been reported in a number of earlier self-report studies reviewed by Kirtley (1975), who concluded on the basis of his extensive appraisal that

individuals blinded before the age of about 5 report no visual imagery in dreams as adults, whereas

those blinded after about the age of 7 are likely to retain visual imagery in dreaming."

"The images of totally congenitally blind individuals, however, lack the uniquely visual characteristics such as color and brightness and result in slight differences from the performance of sighted individuals on several imagery tasks."

Blind people do dream, and yes, it would depend on how long or if they have ever seen before as to what they dream. I do know if a blind person has been blind since birth then the dreams are auditory. I met a blind person and they told me they hear there dreams as we see our dreams.

they do actually see images people who were not born blind like when they could see. Blind from birth people see what their mind could conjure up usually believe it or not more complicated and intricate then we dream. Reason is because the dream centers and sight centers are nowhere near each other.

Wow that is such a good question. I'm really not sure but you have me thinking. Maybe they cant? Or maybe they form pictures in their minds that do not relate to anything.

they feel things and image how it looks like. example: then a bling person feels your face or other things. he/she image how it looks like. so, in their dreams.... they have what they felt that day and image how it looks like.
