I am not sure about your present nationality. Since you are not holding a US passport you need to have a prior visa to visit Dubai.
I would suggest you to contact the Emirates Airlines office and hope they will assist you to obtain a visa for you.

American citizens do not require a visa to the United Arab Emirates for a stay up to 30 days. But you're NOT a US citizen, you're a green card holder.
The green card only has effect in the United States,
You need to find out if a visa is required for people from your country of origin. You must travel with your country passport . You need to take your green card with you in order to be allowed to enter the United States when you come back.
