My wife has been on and off of Hydrocordone for many things. She has not become addicted to it yet. She's had it for Wisdom teeth, migraine headaches, pregnancy, surgery recovery. Currently she's taking 4 a day due to a C-section. She has always been able to stop just fine whether the prescription had ended or not.

I think the key is to simply stop and allow the body to go through its withdrawal and for each one of us that will be a different experience which in the case of your wife should be very minor. Where the problem can arise is if the person begins to have a preoccupation with thinking about the pills and taking them, this is a bit more serious. The mind is a powerful player in all addiction problems.

Just stop taking them and don't worry. Some people don't even notice a withdrawl from that amount.

You might feel a little weird, but after a couple of days it will go away-
Just don't get back into them. It will start all over..

WEAN YOURSELF OFF SO YOU DO NOT HAVE AS BAD OF AN EFFECT! TAKE ONLY ONE FOR SEVERAL DAYS.. THEN A HALF OF ONE AND EVEN A FOURTH IF NEEDED.
YOUR WITHDRAWAL WILL BE VERY MILD SINCE YOU HAVE NOT BEEN ON THEM TOO LONG! AND SLOWLY CUTTING BACK WILL COUNTERACT ANY SEVERE WITH DRAWAL..
HOPE THIS HELPS! MUCH LUCK TO YOU!

JUST STAY STRONG AND USE YOUR WILL POWER, YOU CAN CONQUER THIS!

Stop taking them and deal with low level withdrawal....remember no one has ever died from withdrawal.
